Photography

I’ve been taking photographs ever since I received my first SLR, a Pentax ME Super, for my eleventh birthday. Having gone digital, I have taken almost 40,000 photos with my Nikon D70 since getting it in 2005. What started as a hobby has led to freelance work; I’ve photographed weddings and events, portraits and produced images for use in my web design.

My work spans a variety of genres from portraiture to photojournalism. Regardless of subject, I often find myself fixated by colours or abstract detail, using photographs to show fragments of the world around me in unusual ways.

As an undergraduate, I contributed to and later photo edited Cherwell, Oxford’s student newspaper. I’ve also contributed to Green World, the official magazine of the Green Party.
