I am a longevity scientist and author, and I give keynote talks and public lectures about the new science of ageing—how researchers are uncovering the biological mechanisms that cause us to grow old, and how advances in biotechnology, AI and medicine could allow us to slow, halt, or even reverse the ageing process.
My goal is to make the frontiers of longevity science clear, compelling and relevant—connecting cutting-edge research to practical insights for health, investment and policy today. Drawing on my scientific background, I aim to present this field as rigorously as possible: free from hype, with antibodies to the snake oil that sometimes surrounds the longevity scene.
In my talks, I explore not only the science itself, but also the wider implications of longer lives—the ethical, economic and societal shifts that will come as we extend healthy human lifespan.
I’ve spoken to audiences from governments and investors to scientists, doctors, students and the general public, and can deliver inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions and fireside chats. All formats are welcome—I’ve done everything from academic lectures to science stand-up at the Hammersmith Apollo, and even one 60th birthday party!
I’m based in Berlin, Germany but happy to travel worldwide—I speak frequently in the US, UK and Europe, but have also travelled further afield to the Middle East and Asia. I’m also available for virtual events, podcasts and videos—I can record and stream up to 4k with a professional camera and microphone set-up which you can see in this YouTube video.
Whatever the audience or setting, I want people to come away with a realistic optimism about the possibilities of longevity science and the future of human health.
If you’d like to book a talk or discuss a tailored presentation, please get in touch—I’m always keen to share the science of longevity with new audiences.
