The Temple of Heaven in Beijing in bright primaries against a stunning blue sky. Amazingly, the structure is entirely built from wood with no nails or bolts. It was rebuilt in the late 19th century, having been struck by lightning and burnt down, supposedly because angry gods saw a caterpillar about to crawl onto the sacred golden globe at its apex.
