Mount Washington« zoom in

This photogaph was taken from a vantage point just off the Kancamagus Highway just after the Sun had set on the nearby hills. Mount Washington, which towers hundreds of metres above the rest of the White Mountains, catches the last of the light against a delicately-hued sky. You can just make out the Mount Washington Observatory at the summit.
